Phase I:

The heart of Phase I in the reFocusing process is cultivating a focused life. Pastors and congregational leaders experience personal renewal as they surrender afresh to God's will and gain clarity and confidence regarding God's unique call on their lives. This phase consists of a retreat for the pastors with five monthly network meetings and a Focused Living retreat with follow-up for congregational leaders. Both the retreats and follow-up meetings integrate the following components of a learning community . . .

In the process of Phase I, pastors and leaders will:

  • Explore God’s unique shaping in their life
  • Clarify life values
  • Gain clarity on role
  • Develop the ability to encourage and support other leaders
