Accountability is about authenticity, effectiveness and covenantal responsibility. So this is a really crucial question for congregational leaders to ask and to ask regularly. Are we being the people Jesus has called us to be? Are we accomplishing the things that Jesus invites us to join him in doing? Are we doing what our Annual Conference chartered our congregation to do in ministry?
