How do I connect with a Coach?
The relationship between a coach and person being coached is a personal covenant. Each relationship is established through a conversation between the two parties during which time clarity is established regarding the expectations of each party and the length of the coaching relationship.
To select a coach best suited for you, it is suggested that you:
-
Review the brief biographies below and select a couple of coaches that bring the type of background and experience that would be most helpful to you
-
Contact the selected coaches using the contact information at the conclusion of the biography and have a conversation about coaching style and expectations
If you are unsure about the type of coach that would be most helpful to you, please feel free to contact Dr. Phil Maynard @ phil.maynard@flumc.org to have a conversation about your needs and potential coaches.

Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Vicki moved with her husband, Charlie, to Delray Beach, Florida in 2002. In 1996, she sensed God’s call to leave a 20-year banking career and pursue a master’s degree in Christian Education. Following seminary, she joined a denominational staff and later Church Resources Ministries, a missionary organization working with pastors and leaders in church revitalization. Vicki describes herself as a recovering “performance” addict who is on a journey of becoming – becoming more in love with Jesus, more whole and holy, and more of the person God created her to be. She recently started a footprint friend to accompany others on their journey of becoming through coaching, mentoring, and spiritual friendship.
